Peterborough, ON – A member of the Maple Leaf Dentistry team is facing unimaginable hardship after losing her home in a devastating fire in the Kawarthas this past week. Now, our community has the chance to rally around her and her children in their time of need.
This incredible woman is more than just a hardworking and dedicated employee—she’s a beacon of kindness. She has spent years giving back, including facilitating Free Dental Days to help those in need. Now, it’s time to return that generosity and help her rebuild her life.
How You Can Help?
Maple Leaf Dentistry is organizing a donation drive to support her and her children, a 9-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. Donations can be dropped off at:

🕖 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Items Needed:
Household & Kitchen Essentials:
Countertop appliances, pots & pans, dishes
Toiletries, school supplies, new linens
Clothing & Personal Items:
For her: Women's clothing (size S-M), shoes (size 7)
For her son (9 years old): Youth XL clothing, size 6 shoes, gaming items, sports balls, bicycle
For her daughter (2 years old): Toddler-size 6 shoes, clothing, gently used toys, books
Gift Cards & Experiences:
Restaurants, family activities, fun outings to bring joy during this difficult time
Please ensure all donated items are in good condition.
This family has lost everything, but with the power of community support, we can help them rebuild with love and kindness.
