PLANNED OUTAGE | HYDRO ONE

Updated: Jan 20, 2023

On Sunday January 22nd there is a planned outage for Hydro One Customers. The outage will affect several areas near the Quinte Region. These areas include; The Quinte & Quinte West Regions (including Belleville,Trenton and the surrounding townships), as well as the Tyendinaga and Stirling-Rawdon Townships.

The outage is expected to start at 7:00 am and is expected to be complete by 1 pm. The outage is due to maintenance needed on a transformer in the Quinte Area. The outage will affect 8,342 customers approximately all under the Trenton 3B East Central zone.

It is advised during this time to minimize opening and closing of fridges/freezers and to keep doors closed as often as possible to retain/keep the heat inside. If you have propane, oil or a wood stove you will be sitting okay as the outage will not be longer than a day. It is advised if you mainly use electric heat to think of other options or to once again keep your doors closed as often as possible.
